History
History of Pambria Studs
The Pambria Poll Dorset stud was established in 1991 with the entire 1989 drop of ewes from the Beredale stud. The Beredale stud, founded by the Young family in 1964 had been highly successful in both show and sale rings. It was sold to the Dissegna family in 1989 and has recently been integrated into the Warburn stud.
The Pambria White Suffolk stud was founded in 1997 with the transfer of top line Poll Dorset ewes and the purchase of Renrut 54/96. His twin 55/96 was purchased by Warburn stud and both rams proved to be outstanding sires.
Our objectives are to breed easy care, long, structurally sound, commercially focused sheep with good doing ability enabling them to be marketed at any age.
